neighbourhood research

every computer in the internet has a so - called "ip- adress". this is, so to say, the equivalent to a physical adress in the real world. but: in the real world the neighbour of e.g. a head of state won't be an anarchist. in cyberspace this is possible. this machine lets you find out something about cyber- neighbourhoods.

how to use it:
first write a domainname you know (e.g. www.anydomain.com) in the provided field below and press the change button. soon the assigned ip - adress is shown and also the neighbour adresses. by clicking on them new windows will open containing the neighboursites. at the same time the program gives you the name of the sites, as far as there are names assigned (this is not always the case).

optional you can write an ip adress in the field. by pressing the change button the ip won't be changed, but nevertheless the neighbours are shown.
